In which area are the Houses of Parliament located?

Knowing where Parliament sits in London helps. The Houses of Parliament are housed in the Palace of Westminster, which sits in the Westminster area of central London along the River Thames. It’s the historic and official seat of Parliament, close to landmarks like Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. Canary Wharf is a separate financial district in east London, Whitehall is the route where many government ministries are located, and Kensington is a west London district. So the correct area is Westminster.
