The British foreign intelligence service is commonly known as which acronym?

The main idea here is to recognise Britain's overseas intelligence arm. The agency responsible for foreign intelligence is commonly known by the acronym MI6, short for Military Intelligence 6. While its official name is the Secret Intelligence Service, in everyday usage and in quizzes like this, MI6 is the label people expect. This sets it apart from MI5, which handles domestic security, and from GCHQ, which deals with signals intelligence and cyber matters. So MI6 is the best choice.
