What year is associated with the Domesday video release?

The year to focus on is 1986. The Domesday Project, a landmark British multimedia initiative that brought the Domesday Book into a contemporary format, was launched in 1986, accompanying a video and interactive materials. This is the modern reference point for anything described as the Domesday video release. The Domesday Book itself dates from 1086, but that older date isn’t about the video release. The other years don’t have a direct link to that project.
